Amber – Dark amber, with greenish-brown tones, especially in the area where the honey comes into contact with the glass part of the container. Floral aroma, with a clear and marked woody component, of dry wood. Sweet taste with salty notes, frequently, if it has heather especially, bitter notes, acid notes if it has bush, tendency to low crystallization, except with an important accompaniment of legumes.
Natural Artisan Chestnut Honey
Monofloral variety obtained from the pollination of chestnut flowers on the family farms in Andalusia. With a slightly more intense flavour, it combines perfectly with nuts and meats, providing a different touch and intensifying the flavour of the dishes.

Sensory characteristics
Pollen spectrum.
Chestnut (Castanea sativa), minimum 75%; Heather (Erica spp), Legumes (Fabaceae), cystaceae (Cistaceae, except in the north of the peninsula).
Treatments applied
The honey is subjected to tempering in heated chambers at a maximum temperature of 45ºC, which allows its pumping and filtration in the facilities. During the packaging process it is kept at a maximum of that temperature.
Conservation and storage: Honey is preserved and stored at room temperature, in a cool place (without direct sun) and dry.
Production area:Chestnut forests of the serraladas in the northeast of the peninsula and Andalusia.
Season: Summer.
Allergens: honey does not contain traces of lupins, celery, crustaceans, nuts, gluten, egg, milk, mollusks, mustard, walnuts, sin, sesame, soy.
Microbiology: Honey complies with Reglamento 2073/2005 (modified by Reglamento 1441/2007), y el Real Decreto 135/2010.
